The New Entrant Types page manages configuration details for programs that support new producers entering the industry. These programs provide quota assistance to help new entrants get established.
Each new entrant type defines program-specific parameters such as eligibility criteria, minimum and maximum quota allocations, and administrative rules. Versions can be created to reflect yearly program updates, allowing different sets of parameters for different time periods.
Note: Currently, the system stores this information for reference purposes. In future releases, program rules—such as quota clawback conditions and province-specific purchase requirements—will be automated and enforced within the system.
To view or make changes to the parameters of the lease transfer request from the Manage Settings page:
•Click the Quota Settings arrow from the navigation menu and then select New Entrant Types to open the New Entrant Types page.
The New Entrant Types page provides:
•View of the new entrant types including their effective date and cancel date
•Ability to view, add, edit, or delete new entrant types
•Ability to view, add, edit or delete versions for each new entrant type
