Out of Province Components refer to milk components—such as butterfat, protein, and other solids—that originate from producers outside of the province. These components are part of interprovincial milk movement within the Western Milk Pool (WMP) where each province is responsible for billing its own components. In the SaskMilk MPS, these components are included for tracking and reporting purposes only, and are not billed to processors.
To open the Out of Province Components page:
•Click Shipments arrow on the menu bar, and then select Out of Province Components.
The Out Of Province Components page provides:
•Ability to search for out of province component information
•View of the list of out of province components
•Ability to add, edit, remove, or view out of province components
•Ability to sort column details in ascending or descending order
